Paris fav's

For Erica
Sorry I posted so late, its not much but a few must see/eat/go places :) I hope you get to see this sometime before you leave!

Champ Elysées. This street makes me so happy :)

This is the view from inside of Musée D'orsay, which used to be a train station. This is one of my favorite museums because its so bright and welcoming, and because its packed with impressionist paintings.

Sacre Coeur
Montmarte is one of my favorite neighborhoods. Lots of cute cobblestone streets, stairs, markets, and places to have coffee. Oh, and Les Deux Moulins, the café that Amélie worked at is there.

The stairs to get to the top.
The view of Montmarte from in front of Sacre Coeur.

One of my favorite works of art, The Winged Victory of Samothrace in the Louvre. It's a totally different experience when you see it in person.

At Kong (1 Rue de Pont Neuf, metro: Pont Neuf), the restaurant form Sex and the City, when Carrie meets the Russian's ex-wife.
The ambiance is very cool, and the view form the bridge right near the restaurant is amazing.

Café Des Flores, is popular with writers and designers like Sonia Rykel. It's a nice café to have lunch, they have really good salads.
At Angelina's (226 Rue du Rivoli, Metro: Tuilleries), pouring their famous hot chocolate.

Angelina's is so chic and Parisian and the desserts are SO good!

So, you know all the obvious shopping streets like Rue St. Honore, but one of my favorite neighborhoods, and place to shop was Hotel de Ville/ St. Paul area. Free'p'star ( 61 rue de la verrerie Metro: Hotel de Ville)
Esther got this cute plaid skirt at Free-p-star.
And...I got this polka dot dress there for 3 euros! :)

The other vintage store called Vintage (32 rue de rosiers. Metro stop - st. Paul) It's in the same neighborhood.
My sister, and cousin eating some delicious falafel's
If you get hungry while shopping, "The worlds best Falafel's" is in between Vintage and Free-p-star, you cant miss it.

A few others:
On top of Notre Dame- its the bestt!! I loved seeing the gargoyles up close.
Chez Gladine (30 Rue des Cing Diamants)- southern french restaurant. Its nice for brunch/lunch.

Bon Voyage!!
